TAGBILARAN CITY. – The city police station here reported yesterday a predator at a secluded place in Dampas district this city.
A report reflected at the city police blotter yesterday indicated that a family became the first victim of this armed predator found along the so-called Binayran Road in Dampas District this city.
Rosalina Rivera y Udtohan, 47 years old, married and a residentof Libertad Heights, Baclayon, described the predator as a male suspect who was wearing a bonnet, wearing ¾ white sleeve shirt with blue or black sleeve, wearing pants with slipper around 20 years old, tall and thin in built,
The suspect was armed with a handgun believed to be a .357 caliber revolver and was reportedly hiding at a grassy area in Binayran road and keeps on preying on the passers-by in the road.
At around 1:30 yesterday afternoon, the suspect eyed his victims who were aboard a motorcycle. Rivera together with his live-in partner and their two children were suddenly stopped by the suspect who came out from the grassy area and blocked their way.
Then and there, the unidentified suspect pointed a gun at Rivera and her family and took the victim’s sling bag which contained a wallet with P850.00 in cash, SSS ID, reading eyeglass, Nokia cell phone and diver’s watch of her live-in partner.
P/Supt. George A. Vale immediately ordered his men yesterday to conduct a follow-up operation upon noting the incident which already preyed upon the innocent motorists passing by the secluded areas in the city.
A concerned city resident told Bohol News Today said most of the carnapping incidents here as well as the burglaries and robberies are perpetrated by the illegal drug personalities here who are out to look for sources of funds in order to purchase drugs from pushers.
This developed as reports on carnapping of motorcycles continue unabated. The latest report on carnapping was also reported yesterday victimizing one Rito Degamo, 42 years old, married, a resident of CPG East Avenue, Poblacion 3 this city.
Degamo reported that the motorcycle of his nephew described as Honda Dream color red bearing plate no. 7A 3741 with the Marcelina Degamo as the registred owner which was parked along CPG East Avenue near Bohol Land was stolen by two unidentified teenage suspects according to a certain witnesses around 1 o’clock yesterday dawn.
